THE OCTAGON THEATRE
The Octagon Theatre is owned and managed by South Somerset District Council.
The venue houses a range of events with something for everyone: dance, drama, music, opera, comedy and much more.
As well as numerous high quality productions, the theatre is home to a busy community participatory programme with weekly classes and meetings taking place in our studio space.
The theatre is also home to a bustling café/bar, Prelude, and a first-floor exhibition space for local artists and photographers.
In 2015/16 The Octagon welcomed over 200,000 visitors and the most recent pantomime was seen by over 27,000 people.
